In addition to the instrumentation available in the shared departmental facilities, numerous analytical instruments are housed in the faculty research laboratories. A brief listing of these additional instruments is provided below. This instrumentation is generally available to anyone in the department for their research needs, including faculty, graduate, undergraduate, and even high school students involved in independent research. In many cases, external users can access this instrumentation directly through training or through contracted sample analysis.
