Dr. Tayeb Kakeshpour’s work spans physical organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and chemical biology. His research has included quantitative chemical analysis of exhaled breath particles, biomarker detection, respiratory aerosol chemistry, and studies of aromaticity-modulated hydrogen bonding and redox behavior. He earned his Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University and completed postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health.
