The Department of Chemistry is proud to recognize Palani Ganesh Karthikeyan, a third-year Ph.D. student in Dr. Mahesh Gangishetty’s research group, for his selection to two highly competitive national training programs. Karthikeyan was chosen to attend the National Neutron Scattering School at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the National X-ray School at Argonne National Laboratory, giving him hands-on experience with advanced techniques used to study materials at the atomic and molecular levels. These opportunities will support his doctoral research while helping him build connections with scientists at U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories. Congratulations to Palani on this outstanding achievement!
