Culminating the Department of Chemistry’s National Chemistry Week festivities this year features a ChemDawg poster session and distinguished lecture series in honor of Dr. Charles U. Pittman, Jr., Professor Emeritus of Chemistry, on the occasion of his 81st birthday.  Adapted for pandemic restrictions, this second annual event, PITTFEST 2020, October 23 at 3:15-4:15 in and around Hand 1100, features the combination of a poster session and makeup Lester Andrews Graduate Research Symposium (link), canceled earlier this Spring due to the pandemic.  This year, the LAGRS distinguished lecture series accompanying the annual Spring event will be presented by Dr. Ad Bax from the National Institutes of Health at 4:45 PM via live stream or in person while seating is available, in Hand 1100 (link). Come celebrate with us! PittFest 2020 will be held in Hand Chemical Lab.
