Veteran CVM Staff Leader, Christy Wilder, Joins Chemistry Department as Business Manager

Christy Wilder recently joined the Chemistry Department as our new Business Manager. Special thanks to Dr. Gwaltney and the search committee, including excellent guidance and assistance from Ms. Sandy Williams, Ms. Sheryl Kinard, and the Dean's office for helping make this hire!

Wilder boasts a great deal of experience at MSU. Upon earning an accounting degree from the Mississippi University for Women, Christy worked for The W and others before joining MSU MAFES, SPA, then at CVM where she rose through the ranks to Assistant Director of Financial Services for CVM in 2021. Her experience with larger research units is exactly what the Department needs to sustain and grow our high volume and high impact research and education enterprise.
