Welcome Bruno Donnadieu

Please join me in formally welcoming Bruno Donnadieu to our department as X-Ray Crystallographer / Facilities Manager and Organic Lab Instructor.

Bruno comes to us with exceptional global experience in X-ray Crystallography.  He received a M.S. Degree in Organic Chemistry (1994) from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Toulouse France and then joined the prestigious French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).  Bruno remained aligned formally or informally with CNRS as a facilities manager and crystallographer in Toulouse, then moved to the University of California at Riverside, back to France at the University of Montpellier, and then at the National University of Singapore before joining our department.

In addition to various X-Ray techniques including single crystal expertise, Bruno’s work has focused on electrochemistry, photoelectrochemistry, powder diffraction X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS and EXAFS), X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure (XANES) and Pair Distribution Function (PDF).  His broad international network and insider affiliation with CNRS is an added bonus to his scientific core competencies, of which we should all keep in mind for our international programs and broader impact collaborations.

Please stop by and introduce yourself and assist Bruno in his transition to Mississippi in any way you can.

Welcome Bruno!  We are glad you’re here.
